The official start of summer brings with it the annual 24 Hours of Summer Solstice. A longs-standing tradition for many, this mountain bike race offers opportunities for Teams and Solo riders to race around the clock on a course that is fun, fast and flowing.
While no formal multi-person Team was entered by Duke’s Cycle Cannondale LapDogs, several from the squad still got together with friends and fellow racers to enjoy the challenges that this type of event offers.
We are especially proud of Richard Bowers, who decided it might be “fun” to attempt 24 hours Solo. Richard finished in 13th Place and completed a very impressive 10 laps.
