As many of you know the Duke's Cycle Epic 8 Mountain Bike Relay is happening on May 15th up a the Mansfield Outdoor Centre. This is an awesome event to experience all the excitement of racing off-road without the intensity and stress of jumping into an O'Cup Race. The trails at Mansfield offer up some of the best riding on Southern Ontario and the race course for this event is always a terrific blend off sweet single track and pine forest trails.
In the past we've put in a huge presence at this event and we'd like to see this happen again in 2010. [see attached photo]
We're looking for any and all Club Members who want to have a fun day of riding laps with a great bunch of people. Entries are open to all levels and categories
- Solo
- Tag Team [Male, Female, Mixed]
- 3-4 Person Teams [Male, Female, Mixed]
Please let us know what kind of Team you're interested in and what level you'd like to ride at - Fun and Leisurely or Fast and Furious
Oh... and considering that Road O'Cup# 2 has been cancelled for that weekend, lets see some of you roadies out at this event. Hey, its happened in the past - ask Phil Cates. In fact there is already a call out about this on the Club's Forum. Thanks Mark.
*Race Team Director Mark Thurston has already been in contact with his crew for their entries.

Biketoberfest TT Results PDF Print E-mail

The long wait is over...

At last night's season ending Club Party the winners of our First Annual Biketoberfest TTs were announced. Winning these events required a combination of speed, rider skill and luck of the draw to get the best poker hand. And when it came to the MTB TT, riders were also challenged by Time Keeper Woo's gauntlet of rules, penalties and time punishments... known only to him.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all who helped to make our first such event a huge success.

  • Spring Fling! [you know this will have to include a "Huffy-toss]
  • MidSummer Bike's Dream [very Shakespearean - think wood nymphs]
  • Fall Biketoberfest
